The argument
Saffron is the most counterfeited food on earth. Dyed safflower, cut turmeric, threads that bleed instantly and smell of nothing — the market runs on doubt, and every buyer knows it. That is why people test saffron at their own kitchen sinks before they trust it.
Heritage does not answer that doubt. A founding year proves a house is old; it does not prove the jar in your hand is real. So we compete on the one axis that matters: evidence. Named grade. Category I selection. Harvest year on every jar. And an open invitation to test the threads yourself.
The house standard
Every autumn, for a few violet weeks, the world's saffron fields flower before sunrise. Each crocus opens once. Each holds three crimson stigmas. Each is picked by hand in the dark, before the sun can touch the threads — roughly a hundred and fifty flowers for a single gram.
A house married to one origin must sell you that origin's year, good or bad. We are built the other way: a maison loyal only to the standard. Each harvest we taste lots from the world's premier saffron regions and bottle only what clears Category I — and every jar's true source travels with it, on the certificate.

The collection
The standing invitation
You were going to test our saffron anyway. Everyone does — quietly, at the kitchen sink, the way this market has always defended itself. So we put the test in the box: spare threads, instructions, and our blessing.
Real saffron gives up its gold slowly — an unhurried amber halo over ten minutes, while the threads themselves stay defiantly red. The fakes panic: instant crimson clouds, bleached threads, nothing left to hide.
Speak saffron
All stigma, no style. The longest, deepest-red threads, cut above the pale base — the grade we sell, and the one the certificate describes.
What we bottleWhole red stigmas with a trace of style at the base. Excellent saffron — a shade less colouring strength per gram.
One below“Top of the flower” — red tips cut short. Potent but fragmented; the grade most often passed off as premium.

01 · The lab
Every harvest lot is laboratory-graded to the international standard — colouring strength, aroma, flavour, scored and signed. We publish the report rather than ask for your faith.
See the lab reports02 · The date
Saffron fades with every month off the flower, so every jar carries its harvest year. It is the only honest way to sell freshness — and a reason to return each season.
Read the grades03 · The test
Real saffron gives up its gold slowly while the threads stay red. We put spare threads and a card in the box and invite you to prove us at your own kitchen sink.

Not a marketplace listing. There is a boutique at Nation Towers Mall, Abu Dhabi, and a WhatsApp line where a person — never a bot — answers on grade, gifting and the harvest pouring now.

البيت كلّه، في صندوق واحد
In an Emirati home, the mandoos is the chest that holds what the family treasures most — brass-studded, passed down, opened for the people who matter. Ours holds the house itself: Super Negin threads, the extract made only for us, the season's sweets, roasted nuts and the five teas — fitted, numbered, and delivered with every certificate.
Built in editions, not batches. Each chest is numbered, and each is prepared for one household.
